Jocelyn is our lead technician at Valley Walk Animal Hospital and comes to us with a plethora of education, knowledge, and experience. Upon graduation from Eastside High School, Jocelyn earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary Technology at the University of Washington, Seattle. She is passionate about animal dental health, preventative care, and surgical protocols (making sure your pet is safe and sound). Jocelyn's favorite things include her husband, Warren, her spunky brindle pup, Reggie, her newest edition, George T. MacInnis, and, possibly above all else, the New Orleans Saints! Jocelyn enjoys attending Saints games, a good cup of coffee, hiking, camping, and is always up for a 5K or a good FitBit step challenge!
Christina is our resident smiling face at Valley Walk and works a dual role as receptionist and veterinary assistant. She is also mom to Jaxton, born November 2018. After graduating from Greer High School, Christina attended Greenville Technical College for the veterinary assistant program. She also worked at the YMCA and has been passionate about animals her entire life. Christina's favorite things include snuggling with her little boy, enjoying the outdoors with her better half, Patrick, and spending time with her siblings. You may see her in a black/garnet scrub top occasionally, but we are working to convert her to the orange side.
Kelly is known universally as the sweet one. She is always smiling, perpetually pleasant, and eager to help everyone she meets. Kelly is a graduate of Chapman High School and studied veterinary medicine at Greenville Technical College. She has worked with animals her entire life and enjoys her role as a veterinary technician. The true joy in Kelly's life comes from her little boy, Charlie. Kelly and her husband, Andy, and Charlie live in Inman with their four-legged family members.
Jenna was born and raised in the Upstate of South Carolina and is a veterinary assistant at Valley Walk Animal Hospital.
After graduating from Byrnes High School, Jenna became a Nationally Recognized EMT. Currently, she is a student at Penn Foster studying to become a licensed veterinary technician. Jenna advocates for animal welfare and her very best friend is Chief, her rescued black Lab/Shar-Pei mix. She also has Carmen, a miniature Pinscher and Allie, a rescued Chihuahua. Jenna's favorite things include: , racing, and the Clemson Tigers. Jenna said, "Caring for and being around animals are my favorite things in the world." Fun facts: Jenna is a huge fan of Danica Patrick and the New Orleans Saints!
Morgan is a recent graduate and licensed veterinary technician. She was born and raised in Greenville, SC and currently lives with her two pampered cats. When not at work Morgan enjoys hiking kayaking, and live music! Morgan is always smiling and making us laugh - even when running around the clinic tending to all the fur babies!
Sarah and her husband Matt live in Spartanburg with their 4 awesome children! Sarah has worked in the veterinary field for her entire career and helps maintain calm at Valley Walk! She is always positive, smiles all the time, loves a reason to celebrate, and can likely be found carrying Jelly around the hospital at lunchtime.
Shelby has been working in the Veterinary field for almost 10 yrs and grew up right here in Greer! She attended Eastside High School, went on to get a Bachelors degree in Corporate Fitness, and was later certified in early childhood education. It wasn’t until several years after having children that she decided to completely start over and follow her dream of working in veterinary medicine! Growing up in a family that took in all kinds of strays, wildlife (you name it) and spent their weekends on the farm riding, she has always had a passion for helping animals. She enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Jeremy, their 3 kids (Trystan, Gray, and Braxton), and of course the dogs (Oscar the Boxer, Lilly the Cane Corso, and Dyce the Corgi)!
Allie and her husband, Scott, live in Greer with their four children and a house full of pets! Allie is currently in school to finish becoming a licensed Veterinary Technician. She enjoys time with her family, going to church, and keeping her patients happy and healthy!
Corinne started working in the Veterinary field when she was a sophomore in HS. After graduating she earned her Associates in Animal Science at NVCC in northern Virginia. Joining our team in early October 2019, Corinne has special interests in patient care and animal behavior. She lives in TR with her husband Matt, 2 great kids, 3 dogs and 3 cats (for now - never know when she may add more animals!).
Alissa is a recent graduate from the Veterinary Technology program with Tri-county Technical College. When she's not at work Alissa enjoys spending time with her husband, Dustin, chickens, English Bulldogs - Scout and Teddy, and hiking with her Shepherd mix, Xena. She loves the opportunity to work with all animals, especially exotics and farm animals.
Keila is the newest member of the Valley Walk Animal Hospital team! After graduating from WHHS, she went on to study veterinary technology at Greenville Technical College, and then on to Tri-County Technical College where she recently graduated. Outside of work, Keila is a bookworm who enjoys quiet nights at home with her better half, Lawrence, playing with her dog, Tyson, and cat, Salem, and interesting herself in all things Harry Potter.
Stephanie is the person you see when you first walk in and usually the voice you hear on the phone! Her experience with animals ranges from technician to teaching and training dock diving champions! She is one of the most down to earth, fun, family-oriented people you will meet and fits right in with our team.
Dylan is a 2015 graduate of Greer High School and a 2018 graduate of Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He began veterinary school at the University of Georgia August 2019. Dylan is a lifelong resident of Greer and plans to return to the area upon completion of his DVM. In the meantime, we are fortunate enough to have him as a veterinary technician and understudy absorbing all of the knowledge possible. Dylan is thorough and conscientious with each pet he meets, which will prove invaluable throughout his career. You will occasionally see Dylan and Dr. Holtzclaw balling it up in the parking lot and you're welcome and encouraged to cheer - choose sides appropriately.
Ellie is the official hugger and question asker of Valley Walk Animal Hospital. She loves talking to each and every animal that comes to see us and is always eager to help with snuggles, food, walks - sometimes we catch her in full on conversations with hospitalized/boarding patients. She is the best laundry folder on the team and often tries to "help" answer the phones!
