Meet the Doctor

Dr. Tony Holtzclaw is a native of Greer, South Carolina. He grew up less than 5 miles from Valley Walk Animal Hospital and is a Riverside Warrior. He completed his undergraduate degree at Clemson University (go Tigers!) and received his DVM from Mississippi State University (he still can't quite bring himself to yell, "go dawgs!"). Look closely at the photo above to find Dr. Holtzclaw.

When he isn't at Valley Walk Animal Hospital, Dr. Holtzclaw is busy with his wife, April, and their daughter, Ellie and son, Hagen. They are active members at church, enjoy family above all, fishing and boating, the gym, Clemson football, and escaping to Tybee Island. 

The Holtzclaws are also known to frequent SELECT, Great Bay, Pour, and Lil' Rebel on Locust Hill (probably too often).

Whoa, we bought a zoo! Dr. Holtzclaw, April, and Ellie are owned by 2 dogs and 2 cats. (Somewhat) in order of importance (haha):

• Our sweet Bella will always be number 1 - she made it to 18.5 incredible years - Best Dog in the World 
• Figgie - 8 year old French Bulldog
• Jelly Bean - French Bulldog 
• Tom -12 year old cat (Believes he is a dog)
• Princess - 3 year old gigantic ball of fur
